Many people think of stained glass as associated with churches, and indeed, some of the world's most equisite windows were commissioned for elegant European cathedrals. Today, however, stained glass is found in almost every community church. Whether the work is abstract or realistic, large or small, simple or intricate, it serves the congregation as an aid to meditation by illustrating the great themes of religious teaching and belief.
