Restoration
Whether it’s a family heirloom or a lucky antique shop find, stained glass can be beautifully restored and put to use again. Shadetree Stained Glass Studio has restored the best: Tiffany, D. Maitland Armstrong, and Heaton-Butler-Bayne, to name a few. From working to restore the work of the masters, the Shadetree has learned the inner secrets of the world’s most renowned studios and can use those same painstaking methods to make your stained glass literally as good as new.

Museum-quality standards are followed and complete documentation of original condition and renovation processes are provided to preserve the historic value of your stained glass. The Shadetree replaces or glues broken glass, cleans each piece, and then re-leads the windows. They also touch up damages to painted pieces.
The Shadetree artists are happy to assess your church, home, or business windows and estimate the extent of damage as well as the cost and time-line for needed restoration.
Use your restored window for its original purpose, or make it into a freestanding piece that serves as a room divider. In many cases, a portion of an extensively damaged window can be salvaged and used as the centerpiece in a new window.
